Complementary Skills and Shared Vision
Sweet Moments Company was born from the combined passions of Therese and Brent. Therese, a seasoned Chef Instructor, found immense joy in teaching and inspiring others to cook. Brent, an engineer, was driven by a desire to streamline operations and make processes efficient. Together, they envisioned a company that could make a meaningful impact by connecting people through shared culinary experiences.
Bringing Culinary Experiences to Your Home
In 2019, we took the first step in our journey by offering in-home private cooking classes. We loved the personal connection we could make with our clients, teaching them in the comfort of their own kitchens. These sessions were designed to be intimate and customized, allowing us to focus on the unique needs and preferences of each individual or family.
Embracing Virtual Cooking with Personalized Touches
When the leadership of our neighborhood (Eastmark) approached us in 2020 to offer virtual cooking classes, we saw an opportunity to expand our reach while maintaining the personal touch we valued. Embracing the "Go big or go home" spirit, we insisted on delivering all necessary ingredients to participants. This ensured that everyone could fully participate without the hassle of shopping for ingredients, making the experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
Dedicated Early Mornings for Quality Deliveries
In the early days, we operated out of a shared commercial kitchen from 4 am to 8 am, diligently packaging ingredients in plastic containers. We personally hand-delivered these kits throughout the neighborhood, ensuring that every package arrived fresh and on time. This hands-on approach allowed us to maintain high standards of quality and care for our customers.
Growing Our Community Across Phoenix
By September 2020, our efforts paid off as our deliveries extended across the Phoenix valley. The positive feedback from our community was overwhelming and encouraged us to keep growing. Our goal was always to make cooking accessible and enjoyable for as many people as possible.
Committed to Sustainability with Eco-Friendly Packaging
We listened to our customers' feedback and recognized the need to address concerns about plastic waste. By October 2020, we had developed eco-friendly packaging solutions. This change was driven by our commitment to sustainability and our desire to reduce our environmental footprint while still providing high-quality ingredients.
Connecting Teams Nationwide Through Cooking
November 2020 marked a significant milestone for us as we began shipping across the US for team-building events. This expansion allowed us to bring our unique culinary experiences to companies nationwide, helping teams connect and bond over cooking, even in a virtual setting.
Enhancing Freshness with Recyclable Insulation Liners
In April 2021, we further enhanced our packaging by introducing curb-side recyclable insulation liners. This improvement was part of our ongoing effort to be environmentally responsible while ensuring that our ingredients arrived fresh and ready to use.
Expanding Capacity with Our Own Warehouse
By August 2021, our growth necessitated a move into our own warehouse. This new space allowed us to increase our production capacity and improve our shipping operations, ensuring that we could meet the growing demand for our services while maintaining our high standards of quality and care.

Our journey is far from over. We continuously strive to innovate and improve our services to provide even better culinary experiences.
